From the large bay doors of our Madison, Virginia factory, breathtaking views of the valley farms and Blue Ridge Mountains beyond stretch as far as the eye can see. Geographically, E. A. Clore Sons, Inc. is mere minutes from Route 29, but by all other accounts, it is centuries back in time. As a main staple of business in Madison for nearly two centuries, the Clore factory remains a prime example of how everyday American life has revolved since Madison’s charter in 1792. And when it comes to the sweet small town of historic Madison, it is best surveyed through architecture, decorative arts and views of rolling farmland all the way down preserved Main Street. But if you really want to experience our beloved Madison, don’t miss our annual Labor Day weekend Taste of the Mountains festival, named one of the top 20 festivals in the southeast. This family-friendly Madison heritage festival celebrates the mountain and traditional cultures of 18th and 19th century America as reflected throughout the customs of the Blue Ridge Mountains. And yes, you will even see some centuries-old Clore furniture practices hard at work!

Located in Central Virginia means Washington, DC is only about ninety minutes away. Those in Charlottesville can be in Madison in a little over a half-hour.
